A local company was ordered by the Magistrate’s Court to pay a fine of BND $3,200 after its director pleaded guilty to four charges of non-payment of income tax.

Maryana Sdn Bhd failed to endow a return of income tax to the Collector of Income Tax for business year ended December 31, 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015.

Chief Magistrate Muhammad Faisal bin Pehin Dato Haji Kefli presided over the case. Deputy Public Prosecutor Amiriah bin Haji Ali represented the Public Prosecutor.
