Local Man Sentenced to Jail for Auto Theft

A forty-two-year-old local man was sentenced to jail for eight months after he pleaded guilty to a charge of auto-theft.

 

The defendant, Shahrin bin Haji Tarang, stole a car from a house on Jalan Kota Batu, Kampong Sungai Besar at 9am on January 7, 2016.

 

DPP Adli bin Haji Mohd Zaidi represented the Public Prosecutor Magistrate Azrimah binti Abdul Rahman presided over the case.
