A student has been kicked off her uni’s wi-fi for a month – because she illegally downloaded a film.
Even worse for Gianna Mulville-Zanetta is that she didn’t download a can’t-miss new blockbuster or a movie that would have been hard to track down otherwise.
Nope, she lost her internet privileges – during exam season, nonetheless – for Chicken Run, the animated movie released back in 2000.
It’s also available on Netflix.
Gianna is a first-year social policy student at Bristol University.
She told The Tab: ‘It’s so annoying that this has happened during exam season.
‘Adding insult to injury, I hadn’t realised that Chicken Run is actually already on Netflix!’
Hopefully Gianna is a massive Chicken Run fan – otherwise it really, really wasn’t worth it.
