The Minister of Religious Affairs, Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman received a goodwill call from Dr Mohamad Maliki bin Osman, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Military of Foreign Affairs of Singapore.

At the meeting, the minister and Dr Mohamad Maliki exchanged views on current issues and in particular in the fields of common interest.

The goodwill visit clearly indicates the closeness of bilateral relations that exist between the two countries.

Accompanying Dr Mohamad Maliki was the High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam, Lim Hong Huai.

Present at the meeting were Dato Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs; Roslan bin Haji Taja’ah, Deputy Permanent Secretary; and senior officials at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The ceremony took place in Dhiyafah Room, 5th Floor, Annex Building, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Berakas yesterday.
