A Pre- Ramadhan ceremony to Commemorate Isra' Mi'raj has been organised for the first time by the Converts Empowerment Unit of the Islamic Dakwah Centre with the cooperation of the Nurul Islam Association.  The ceremony was held at the Islamic Dakwah Centre last night.

Among those present was Awang Haji Ahmad Abdussalam bin Haji Abdul Rahman, the Acting Director of Islamic Dakwah Centre. The ceremony included the mass fardhu Isya' prayer, reading of Tahlil and a Talk. Awang Haji Sammali bin Haji Adam, Director of Public and International Relations Centre, Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, in his talk, reminded converts to welcome the month of Ramadhan happily, confidently and sincerely. Muslims are also urged to learn from the Isra'k Mi'raj event that provides lessons on going through the daily life that is full of challenges.
