Pray to Allah Subahanahu Wata'ala many times and cooperate with one another are the key to the success of the Firqah Halawatul Iman and Firqahtul Munawarah Groups in the Male and Female Finals of the 10th Tausyeh Competition. The event took place this afternoon at the Dewan Raya of Radio Television Brunei. The art of Tausyeh is an alternative dakwah method in upholding the country's standing as a zikir nation based on the Malay Islamic Monarchy concept.

Eight groups competed in the Final This year, 33 groups from Secondary schools, Institutes of Higher Education, Youth Associations and Individual Groups took part. Present to watch the competition was Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Mohd Yusof, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Awang Haji Muhamad Suffian bin Haji Bungsu, the Director of Radio Television Brunei was also present.

Both the male and female group champions received cash prizes of 3 thousand dollars, a trophy and certificate of participation each. The best group title also went to the Firqah Halawatul Iman Group which also received the challenge trophy and one thousand dollars. The prizes were presented by the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The Tausyeh Competition was held in conjunction with the 60th anniversary of RTB's Radio Service and the 20th anniversary of the radio Nur Islam channel. The competition was sponsored by Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei -TAIB; Insurans Islam TAIB and Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad. Representatives of the two winning groups expressed their happiness and gratefulness for their success in the competition.
