His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam is now in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to attend the Arab Islamic American Summit, which is being held today. His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam arrived in Riyadh, last night.

Present at King Salman Air Base to greet His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam were His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, the Deputy Governor of Riyadh; and His Excellency Hisham bin Abdul Wahab Zaraa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia to Brunei Darussalam. Also present to greet His Majesty were Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance; Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade; and His Excellency Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Yusoff bin Haji Awang Ismail, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Arab Islamic American Summit which carries the theme "Together We Prevail" will focus on ways of building more robust and effective security partnerships among the countries to counter and prevent the growing threat of terrorism and violent extremism around the globe through promoting tolerance and moderation.
