A Malaysian man was found guilty under the Customs Act. 24 year old Ismail Bin Haji Sidop pleaded guilty on possession of 36 cartons of cigarettes.

Various brands on the 3rd of May at a house in Kampung Junjongan, Jalan Limau Manis. He was fined $20,700.00 or 20 months imprisonment in default. Ismail was given a period until the 20th of April next year to pay the fine. All contraband was seized to be destroyed.
