Various religious activities were held in celebrating the Diamond Jubilee or 60 Years of Radio Brunei Television. Yesterday, more than 90 officers and staff of Radio Television Brunei, RTB participated in the Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony. The ceremony was held at Dewan Raya, Radio Television Brunei.

The event began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah by Awang Haji Muhammad Suffian bin Haji Bungsu, Director of the Radio Television Brunei, followed by the reading of Khatam Al-Qur'an verses and Takhtim by the participants.

Doa Khatam was led by Awang Abdul Faris bin Haji Abdul Mutalif, while the reading of doa selamat was read by Awang Abdul Qawiy bin Haji Mat Yamin, Grade One Assistant Finance Officer. The Radio Brunei Services has 5 networks namely Nasional FM, Pilihan FM, Harmoni FM, Pelangi FM and Nur Islam. It also plays a vital role in providing information, to educate and entertain as well as can be heard the whole world. In line with the current development, Radio Brunei will always endeavour to attract its audiences with various programmes. Also present were heads of section, officers and staff of the RTB.
