His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has consented to send a message of condolences to The Right Honourable Theresa May, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland following the recent explosion in Manchester.

In the message, His Majesty was shocked by the news of the explosion in Manchester, and was very saddened to learn of the resulting deaths and injuries. On behalf of the Government and the people of Brunei Darussalam, His Majesty offered his deepest condolences and sympathies to Her Excellency and to the people of Britain, and especially to those who lost their loved ones in this cowardly attack on innocent lives.
