207 officers and staff of the Ministry of Development and the Departments under it this morning also received the Long Service Medal, PKL. Among the criteria for receiving the PKL are the officer and staff comprised those who have served for 20 years or more and having a clean service record as well as a work performance appraisal consistently at the "very good" level for the past three years. The presentation of medals was held this afternoon.

The medals were presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Bahrin bin Abdullah, the Minister of Development. Also present were Dato Paduka Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar, the Deputy Minister of Development; Awang Haji Muhammad Lutfi bin Abdullah, the Permanent Secretary (Administration and Finance) at the Ministry; Awang Haji Marzuke bin Haji Mohsin, the Permanent Secretary (Technical and Professional) at the Ministry; and Doctor Dayang Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, the Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry.
