10 people comprising single mothers, new converts and the underprivileged in Kampung Mentiri and its surrounding areas, last night received contributions under the 'cube amal kitani' project.  The project was organised by the members of the Kampung Mentiri Mosque Takmir Committee with the cooperation of the Kampung Mentiri Consultative Council.

The contributions in the form of basic necessities were presented by Awang Haji Harun bin Haji Junid, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The Cube Amal Kitani project among other things aimed to help the less privileged as well as instils solidarity and a sense of responsibility.  The function was held at the Kampung Mentiri Mosque.
