Doa Kesyukukran in Conjunction with RBAF's 56th Anniversary

His Royal Highness Prince General Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and General of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, attended a Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with the 56th Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF. The ceremony took place at Ad-difa' Surau, Ministry of Defence at Bolkiah Garrison.
Upon arrival, His Royal Highness was greeted by Retired First Admiral Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Abdul Aziz bin Mohamad Tamit, Deputy Minister of Defence, and Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Major General Dato Paduka Seri Mohammad Tawih bin Abdullah, the Commander of RBAF. The ceremony began with mass Fardhu Zohor prayer led by Awang Zulfadhli bin Haji Awang, the Imam of the Ministry of Defence Surau. The reading of surah Yasin and Tahlil was led by Awang Shuib bin Haji Abdullah, the Imam of the Ministry of Defence Surau, who also read the doa kesyukuran.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince received junjung ziarah from the congregants. Among those present were members of the Defence Executive Committee, Military Commanders and Commandants, Directors, as well as Senior officers of the Ministry of Defence and the RBAF. Before leaving the ceremony, His Royal Highness signed the commemorative parchment. At its 56 years of age, RBAF is among the sectors that are entrusted with the responsibility to maintain the nation's harmony. RBAF has contributed to various meaningful developments and progress for the prosperity and security of the nation.
