An octopus was apparently spotted trying to leave an aquarium after escaping from its tank.
It didn’t go well for the sea creature though as it turns out they’re rubbish on dry land.
A video showed the octopus slithering along the floor of the aquatic centre in Vladivostok, Primorsky Krai region, Russia.
It had apparently escaped after pushing down on a lock that was above its tank.
The octopus’ jail break was helped by the fact it has no bones and was able to squish itself through the small hole.
But the sea creature’s escape was ultimately thwarted when it was spotted by workers.
It was not harmed despite being out of the water for a while because octopuses can live for up to 18 hours without water and oxygen.
The crafty animal was eventually returned to its tank by a group of divers.
