Bayern confident of adding Alexis

If Alexis Sanchez leaves Arsenal for Bayern Munich this summer, he will become the Bundesliga giants' highest-paid player on £350,000 a week, according to the Mirror.

The report claims that Sanchez's agent has already held talks with Bayern, and they are confident of luring the Chile international to Germany, especially considering Arsenal's preference to not sell to a Premier League rival.

The Telegraph adds that although Chelsea and Manchester City are interested, Bayern are favourites and would be willing to pay £40 million for Sanchez, who is entering the final year of his Arsenal contract, and their offer dwarfs the current £280,000-a-week offer on the table from the Gunners.

Madrid to make room for Mbappe by pushing out Bale

A deal to take Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid will happen only if Gareth Bale moves on, Marca reports.

Bale, who has been linked with Manchester United, has said he is happy in Spain with Los Blancos, but he is said to be the man who will make way, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema assured of their future at the club and Marco Asensio's development also a priority.

It is claimed that Real president Florentino Perez is in talks to bring the 18-year-old Monaco forward to La Liga, with one possible solution being that a deal is struck but he stays put for one more season to guarantee playing time ahead of next summer's World Cup.

Milan enter race for Costa

Diego Costa's agent has held talks with AC Milan about a move to Serie A following the news that Costa is surplus to requirements at Chelsea, according to the London Evening Standard.

The newspaper writes that Costa would prefer a move back to La Liga with Atletico Madrid, and he had even agreed to personal terms with his former club, but that deal is unlikely to happen due to their transfer ban, and he could now join Milan instead.

Meanwhile, the Mirror claims that Antonio Conte did not run his decision to dump Costa past Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic and adds that the decision was taken as long ago as November.

The Daily Mail reports that Manchester City and Chelsea remain interested, but they would have to break the world transfer record for a defender to secure the 25-year-old's services.

-- Asmir Begovic's departure has left Chelsea without a backup goalkeeper, but Willy Caballero, who is set to be released on a free transfer by Manchester City, could fill the void. The London Evening Standard reports that Caballero is also a target for Newcastle.

-- Another goalkeeper preparing for life away from Manchester City could be Claudio Bravo, who is a target for Lille, according to the Mirror. Reportedly, Marcelo Bielsa, who managed Bravo for four years when he was Chile boss, would like to take him to Ligue 1.
