The Bandar Magistrate's Court yesterday gave the prosecution two weeks to consider and finalise charges in a case involving allegations against a 42-year-old local man of outraging the modesty of a 15-year-old girl from the neighbouring house.
The defendant, Johari bin Haji Zaini, allegedly kissed the lips and groped the breasts of his 15-year-old neighbour, while pinning her onto the bed with his body in a bedroom at his house on April 16, 2016.
Magistrate Azrimah binti Abdul Rahman fixed the case for further mention on May 9 while releasing the defendant on bail of BND$7,000 or in two local sureties, attached with reporting conditions and a restraining order from approaching the victim.
DPP Shamshuddin Kamaluddin prosecuted the case.
