Al-Quran bestowed to mankind is not solely for reading, it also acts a life guide for the people in their daily life. In the Quran, it contain knowledge for the benefit of mankind that must be understood and practiced. This was among the matters stated in a talk in conjunction with the Nuzul Al-Quran 1438 Hijrah which carried the title 'Al-Quran sebagai Teman' organised by the Ministry of Finance and its departments. The function took place this afternoon at the Theater Hall of the Ministry of Finance.

 

In his talk, Awang Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ajak, a certified Da'ie from the Brunei Islamic Religious Council, MUIB, and urged Muslims to always read the Quran to receive Allah the Almighty's blessings. At the function, 23 orphans from families of the ministry's officers and staff received donation presented by Awang Ahmaddin bin Haji Abd Rahman, Permanent Secretary of Policy at the Ministry of Finance. Also present was Dayang Norliah binti Haji Kula, Permanent Secretary of Performance at the Ministry of Finance.
