Shopping and doing charity at the same time are among the goals of "Gempak Raya 2017" apart from promoting local products. Organised by Star Bugs Eevent Management, the event is currently ongoing until the 25th of this month at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas.

The event was launched this afternoon by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohammad Yussof, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The function ran concurrently with presentation of donation for orphans, and 2 wheelchairs for people with special needs by Awang Sufri bin Puasa, Managing Director of Star Bugs Event Management to Yang Berhormat Pehin. The expo provides more than 60 booths for entrepreneur to showcase their products. It is open to the public from 10 in the morning until 10 in the evening.
