Lao Ford City Donates Ford Focus Car To Student Training Centre

Ford Motor Company and Lao Ford City have donateda Ford Focus car worth US$ 40,000 to the Don BoscoYouth Training Centre for student training purposes.
The handover ceremony was held at Lao Ford City in Vientiane Capital on June 15, between the General Manager of Lao Ford City Dilip Jesuthasanand a representative of the recipient - Don Bosco youth training center -Fr. Vincent.
The Ford Focus has a modern design and interior facilities and is safe forstudent use, so they canpractice driving and learn about cars with a real car.
Several years ago, Lao Ford City, of the RMA Asia Group, has been active in social assistance: in 2013, it gave a vehicle to Lao Germany technical college worth US$ 40,000; in 2014, Lao Ford City donated $20,000 to the Vientiane Rescue team; and in 2016, it donated $25,000 to World Vision, and international NGO.
One of the main Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies of Lao Ford City is to help develop societyand increase the skills of underprivileged youth from low-income families to encourage and enable them to get good jobs and/or run their own businesses in the future.
The Don Bosco Youth Training Center develops technical skills of youth from rural, low-income families andunemployed people across the country, including Vientiane capital. The project aims to develop human resources and provide technical training to empower youth and make them job-ready and capable of contributing to society.
