Kuala Belait Breaking of Fast Ceremony and Presentation Donation

More orphans in the Belait District received attention from various agencies so that they can feel the blessings of Ramadhan and also providing assistance for the forthcoming Hari Raya festivity.

 

Late yesterday afternoon, 35 orphans from Kampung Pandan 'C' in the Belait District were treated to a breaking of fast ceremony followed by presentation of donations. The donation were presented by Yang Berhormat Awang Hanapi bin Mohd Siput, a Legislative Council member and Paul Van Den Hamal, Director of East Asset of Brunei Shell Petroleum as well as other donors.

 

Meanwhile, 93 orphans from Kampung Lumapas received donations at the Tahlil and Doa Arwah Ceremony organised by Kampung Lumapas 'A', Lumapas 'B' and Kampung Lumapas 'A' Indigenious Landless Scheme. The ceremony was held yesterday afternoon at Kampung Lumapas Mosque. The donations were handed over by Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohimin bin Haji Johari @ Jahari, Member of the Legislative Council.
