Also holding a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony was a delegation from the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The ceremony was held at the Pehin Khatib Abdullah Mosque in Kampung Kulapis.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs, who also led the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah. Also present was Dato Paduka Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. Prior to this, the Ministry of Religious Affairs delegation has held a similar ceremony at the residence of the Minister of Religious Affairs.
