Surah Al-Ikhlas carries the meaning of sincerity and represents a Surah At-Tauhid which is summarised in four verses regarding the divinity and oneness of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. Reading Surah Al-Ikhlas will receive rewards akin to reading one third of Al-Qu'ran. This was among the contents of a tazkirah or short talk during the 'Masjidku Makmur, Negara Berkat' programme which was held at the Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque earlier this morning.

 

The talk entitiled, 'Hebatnya Surah Al-Ikhlas' or the Greatness of Surah Al-Ikhlas was delivered by Awang Haji Saharuddin bin Haji Patra, Acting Director of Shariah Affairs Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs. The talk shared that by multplying the reading of Surah Al-Ikhlas can cure diseases and prevent from any disaster, apart from reaping good deeds in this world and the hereafter. Present was Dato Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs.
