The Agriculture and Forestry Department of Bokeo province on Tuesday organised a meeting on cooperation on technical control of rabies along the border between Bokeo Province and Chiang Rai province, Thailand.

At the meeting,there were lesson exchanges on technical prevention and control of rabies outbreaks along the border between the two countries, as well as vaccination againstrabies, diagnosisin the laboratory and taking some samples of dog-suspected rabies to test in Thailand.

Phosykeo Xayachack, Deputy Director of Bokeo Agriculture and Forestry Department, reviewed the implementation of the rabies outbreak prevention plan over the past years as well as the joint action plan to preventthe disease, which the two provinces have collaborated on, exchanged knowledge, provided information and helped each other.
