BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

In the Belait District, Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah and Her Royal Highness Princess 'Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah were present as the personal representatives of His Majesty to hand over the personal gifts of His Majesty to selected groups in the district. The ceremony was held at Dewan Pusat Insani, Seria. Some 2 thousand 658 individuals from among selected groups received the personal gifts of His Majesty at the ceremony.

Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Hafizah Sururul Bolkiah and Her Royal Highness Princess 'Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah were greeted on arrival by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism and wife; and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat, Minister of Communication and wife.

The ceremony began with the recital of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat led by Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Setia Raja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Suhaili bin Haji Mohiddin.

The bestowal of His Majesty's personal gifts in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration certainly brought cheer to these selected groups. The country is very grateful to have a monarch who is attentive towards the welfare of the people, which in itself is a blessing from Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala.

His Majesty's personal gifts reflects the leadership and caring attitude of His Majesty, who always wants to see the welfare and well-being of citizens and residents in Brunei Darussalam, especially those in need, be given the necessary attention, especially with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

His Majesty's caring attitude towards his subjects who are from among the underprivileged in the country is undeniable. The bestowal of His Majesty's personal gifts is a clear manifestation of His Majesty's generosity and desire to see those who are in need of assistance be supported and given due attention in a bid to help alleviate their burdens.
