In this holy month of Ramadhan, Muslims in the country are also not forgetting the departed. The Temburong District Scouts Association this afternoon held a Tahlil ceremony at the Semamang Cemetary in Bangar Town. The function began with reading of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by mass reading of tahlil.

Also taking part in the function were the Commissioner, Assistant Commissioners and members of Temburong District Scouts Association. The function ran concurrently with the presentation of contribution in the form of daily necessities to Awang Mohammad bin Tahir. The contribution was handed over by Awang Jurkarnain bin Hussin, Commissioner of Temburong District Scouts Association. It is hoped to ease the burden of the less fortunate in welcoming the month of Syawal.
