150 orphans from Mukim Sengkurong this afternoon received donations handed over during a Tadarus Ceremony for Kampung Tanjung Nangka.

The function was held at the residence of Yang Berhormat Haji Abdul Hamid @ Haji Sabli bin Haji Arsad, Legislative Council Member in Kampung Tanjung Nangka. The programme in conjunction of Ramadhan included Doa Arwah and Doa Selamat, followed by breaking of fast. The donations were handed over to the orphans by Yang Berhormat Haji Abdul Hamid @ Haji Sabli and Awang Haji Musa bin Haji Tahir, the Penghulu of Mukim Sengkurong.
