Although the month of Ramadhan is nearing its end, religious programmes are still actively taking place in the country. This afternoon, the Kampung Kilanas Consultative Council held a Tahlil ceremony for His Majesty's late parents, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien and Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit di Kubah Makam Diraja. The ceremony was held at the Royal Mausoleum.

Among those present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. Reading of Surah Yasin and Tahlil were led by Awang Haji Kamaluddin bin Haji Abdul Rahim, the Imam of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Silver Jubilee Mosque in Kampong Jangsak. The ceremony was conducted with the cooperaton of Kampung Kilanas Mosque. Masjid Jubli Perak Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Silver Jubilee Mosque in Kampong Jangsak and Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque in Mukim Kilanas.
