In together glorifying Ramadhan, a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony was held this afternoon at the residence of Dato Paduka Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs in Kampung Sungai Hanching.

Reading of Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Dato Paduka Haji Awang Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud; while Takhtim Al-Quran and Doa Khatam as well as Tahlil were led by Awang Zulkifli bin Haji Murat,  Superintendant of Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque. Also present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, the Minister of Education, and Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Othman, the Minister of Religious Affairs.
