Brunei Darussalam is Taking Part in the AFF Futsal Club Championship

In local sport development, Brunei Darussalam is taking part in the AFF Invitational Futsal Club Championship this July. The Shah United team will represent the country in the championship which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand.
Shah United under the guidance of Qusaimi Noor bin Haji Rosli will be in group 'A' against two times champion from Thailand, Port FC; Permata Indah from Indonesia and a team from Myanmar. Group 'B' consist of Coast Heat East from Australia; Melaka United from Malaysia; Sana Khanh Hoa of Viet Nam and Vientiane Capital from Laos. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.
The team is currently undergoing training at the multipurpose hall of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas. Qusaimi Noor as the head coach of Shah United is preparing the club by strengthening the list of major players from local clubs and two import players from Indonesia, towards strengthening the sustainability of the players for the upcoming championship.
