Liverpool willing to pay £100m for Mbappe
Liverpool have registered an interest in signing Kylian Mbappe and, according to the Mirror, are willing to pay a world-record transfer fee of £100 million for the Monaco striker.
Real Madrid, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain have all been linked with the 18-year-old, but he is yet to decide if he will move this summer. If he does, Liverpool are ready to enter the bidding, although no official move has been made yet.
L'Equipe reckon Madrid remain favourites, though, and that could see Gareth Bale forced out since Cristiano Ronaldo is staying. Reports in France suggested talks have already taken place between Mbappe and Los Blancos coach Zinedine Zidane about a deal that could see the France international move to Spain.
Rooney stuck at Man United
Wayne Rooney is open to offers in order to get regular playing time, but he is struggling to find a club willing to meet Manchester United's transfer valuation, writes the Mirror.

The report states that United are not willing to let Rooney leave for nothing, or to pay a large chunk of his salary to get him off the wage bill, leaving the 31-year-old, who has one year left on his current deal, facing another season on the fringes of coach Jose Mourinho's squad.
Arsenal to break club record for Lacazette
Arsenal are set to break their club-record transfer fee with a £44m signing of Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon, the Guardian claims.
France international Lacazette is keen to catch France coach Didier Deschamps' eye in the buildup to the 2018 World Cup and believes a move to the Premier League would help him do that. Negotiations will reportedly continue next week, but the 26-year-old's arrival would bring an end to Arsenal's interest in Mbappe.
The deal could also spell the end of Olivier Giroud at Arsenal, with Lyon and West Ham interested in the striker, who is said to prefer staying in London. Lyon will also target Chelsea's Bertrand Traore and Manchester City's Eliaquim Mangala.
Verratti, PSG play hardball
The standoff between Marco Verratti and Paris Saint-Germain is heating up, with the midfielder determined to force through a move to Barcelona, according to Mediaset.
The Italian outlet reckons that PSG offered Verratti a pay increase to €12m a year in order to focus him amid interest from Barca. However, Verratti rejected the offer and told his employers he is set on a move to the Camp Nou -- something the Spanish side are said to be grateful to him for.
PSG, though, have stood their ground and reminded the Italy international he is under contract until 2021, leaving him with two options: fail to show up for preseason on July 4, or give up on a move to Barca.
Tap-ins
-- Marca claims that Barcelona are facing frustration in their pursuit of right-backs Hector Bellerin and Nelson Semedo. Arsenal are unwilling to sell Bellerin, who signed a new long-term contract late last year, while Benfica value Semedo at €50m, a price Barca can't meet.
-- Chelsea remain confident of agreeing to a new contract with Thibaut Courtois, according to the Daily Mail, but talks are currently on hold. Courtois' current deal sees him earn £90,000 a week until 2019, but the goalkeeper, who has been linked with Real Madrid, is said to want at least double that figure.
-- Manchester City want to insert a buy-back clause in the contract of Leicester and West Ham target Kelechi Iheanacho after coach Pep Guardiola made him available for transfer. The Telegraph reports the agreement is so that Guardiola's eventual successor will have the option of re-signing the 20-year-old striker at a later date.
