Yang Berhormat said thinking of Allah is the key to deliverance or safety and the most important zikir is reading Al-Quran and prayers. On solat or prayers, the State Mufti highlighted that when people go visiting from morning until evening, there is a possibility of missing or neglecting solat. Yang Berhormat added it is good if people also visit the mosques during their trips and perform prayers. If this happened Brunei Darussalam would be most fortunate that it has people who never forget Allah the Almighty, even as they enjoyed themselves celebrating Hari Raya.
Meanwhile in the second sermon, the State Mufti explained that the prayers not only provide safety shields or forts for those who perform them, but can also brighten one's face or appearance. He added that a renowned cleric by the name of Hasan Al-Basri who lived around 1300 years ago possessed a glowing face because he used to wake up in the middle of the night to perform the Tahajud prayer. He was then blessed by Allah the Almighty with a good looking glowing face. The glow comes from performing prayers and ablutions. The State Mufti added the Malaikat or Angels pray to Allah to pardon those who are always in a state of ablution. Before leaving Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, His Majesty and other members of the Royal Family received junjung ziarah from the congregants.
