The tradition of visiting one another during the festive season can instil solidarity and strengthen relations among the Muslim ummah. This afternoon, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs received a Hari Raya visit from a Singaporean delegation. Dato Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud and wife received a visit from His Excellency Doctor Mohamad Maliki bin Osman, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore and wife as well as delegation.

Also parts of the delegation were Associate Professor Doctor Muhammad Faisal Ibrahim, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Social and Family Development and Ministry of Education of the Republic of Singapore and wife; Desmond Choo, Member of Parliament Mayor, North East CDC and His Excellency Lim Hong Huai, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to the country. His Excellency's delegation is in the country for a 5-day visit.
