Preparations for the Royal Birthday Celebration

In two days' time, Brunei Darussalam will celebrate His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 71st Birthday Anniversary, preparations on the celebration are now in full swing throughout the country.

 

In Bandar Seri Begawan, festive stalls were built at the parking area in front of the Royal Regalia Building. The stalls provide local vendors the opportunity to make extra income apart from enliven the festivity. The Bandar Seri Begawan Municipal Department has provided the festive stalls for vendors to sell food and beverages as well as fruits.

 

The Temburong district is also busy with the preparation. The Bangar town is now colourful with the hoisting of national flags, banners and arches erected along the roads. Festive stalls are also provided. For the Temburong district, the Get-together and Junjung Ziarah Ceremony with the citizens and residents will be held on the 20th July at the Field of the Pekan Bangar Civic Centre Complex.
