20 babies were born on the 15th of July in conjunction with the 71st Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
Out of the total, 15 babies were delivered at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital; 2 at Pusat Perubatan Jerudong Park Medical Centre, JPMC; and 3 the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital in Kuala Belait. A Kesyukuran and Souvenir-Presentation Ceremony was held yesterday at the Women and Children's Block of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital in the capital.
At the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital, souvenirs for the newborn babies were presented by Datin Paduka Hajah Jahrah binti Haji Mohammad, Wife of the Minister of Home Affairs. Meanwhile, contributions from Perbadanan TAIB were presented by Datin Hajah Khalsom binti Haji Suhaili, Wife of the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, who is also the Chairman of Perbadanan TAIB's Board of Directors. Also present was Datin Paduka Doctor Hajah Maslina binti Haji Moksin, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health.
Whereas in the Suri Seri Begawan Hospital, Kuala Belait, souvenirs were presented by Dayang Suraya binti Haji Mohd Salleh, wife of the Belait District Officer while contributions from Perbadanan TAIB were presented by Dayang Zamzaipa binti Haji Ismail, Assistant General Manager of Perbadanan TAIB.
