The warm and friendly relations forged since 40 years ago did not fade among the former hostel residents of Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien, SOAS College. It was manifested once again at a Hari Raya Aidilfitri Get-Together that took place yesterday  at the Tarindak D'Polo Restaurant of the Royal Polo and Riding Club in Jerudong.

Present was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Abdul Hamid @ Sabli bin Haji Arshad, member of the Legislative Council. In his welcoming speech, Awang Haji Shahri bin Haji Awang Besar, the function chairman underlined the importance of fostering relations and building closer rapport among the former hostel residents.

Apart from conducting such a ceremony, the former hostel residents of SOAS College are also active in a number of activities. This includes participating in the Maulidur Rasul gathering and procession as well as the Tadarus and Khatam Al-Quran during Ramadan.
