​Even though Syawal is in its third week, the festive atmosphere can still be felt with various Hari Raya celebrations conducted by various parties in the country. Yesterday, the Royal Brunei Catering Sendirian Berhad - RBC held a Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House at the Horizons Seafood Restaurant in the capital.

Among those in attendance were Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yusof, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Awang Junaidi bin Haji Masri of R.B.C Board of Directors who is also the Managing Director of  the Brunei Investment Agency, B.I.A, and Awang Ahmad Husaini bin Hassan, General Manager of R.B.C. This year's Open House carried the concept of "Raya in the 60's- Authentic Hari Raya Cuisine" where various cuisines of different countries were provided including those from Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Iraq, China, Indonesia and the Philippines.
