​In conjunction with the 71st birthday celebration of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Ministry of Finance and its departments yesterday late afternoon held the Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony at the Ash-Shaliheen Mosque, Prime Minister's Office Complex.

In attendance was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance. The ceremony commenced with the Mass Fardhu Maghrib prayer and the Sunat Hajat prayer. This was then followed by the reading of Surah Yasin, tahlil and Doa Kesyukuran led by Awang Mohammad Syariff Wafiuddin bin Jemain, the mosque's prayer leader. Also present were Dato Seri Paduka Haji Hisham bin Haji Mohammad Hanifah and Dato Seri Paduka Doctor Haji Mohammad Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Deputy Ministers of Finance.
