Indonesian Man Found Guilty In Immigration Case

An Indonesian man was brought before the Bandar Seri Begawan Magistrate's Court for an offence under Chapter 15 of the Immigration Act, Section 17.
28-year-old, Muhadi was found guilty of overstaying in the country after his work pass had expired for 460 days. The Magistrate's Court sentenced him to 3 months imprisonment and 3 strokes of the cane. Muhadi was detained by the Royal Brunei Police from the Department of Investigation and Traffic Control on 14th of July.
