​A Tazkirah or religious talk on "Cintakan Negara Manifestasikan Iman" or 'Loving the Country Is A Manifestation of Faith' is the theme of this month's Nationwide Religious Programme for Religious and Arabic Schools in the four districts. The monthly programme organised by the Islamic Studies Department is hoped to produce Al-Insan As-Saleh or pious people besides creating a balanced and excellent education.

Lambak Religious School was the focus of the programme in the Brunei-Muara District this afternoon.  The function began with a talk on the responsibility of the country's people to love and be loyal to Allah, the Messenger of Allah and the Ruler. The programme continued with the reading of Surah Yasin in conjunction with His Majesty's 71st Birthday celebration and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.

In Belait District, the focal point was Belait Arabic School which was attended by 140 pupils from Years 5, 7 and 8. The programme began with a talk by Dayangku Raihan Adilah Binti Pengiran Haji Azahari, a 3rd Year student of Egypt's Al-Azhar University who is currently on a temporary work placement. The reading of Surah Yasin in conjunction with His Majesty's 71st Birthday was led by Md Irfan Wazif bin Fazrul Zaharin. The Doa Yasin and Doa Allah Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam was led by Abd Malek Bin Bahrin, a Year 8 student. In Tutong District, a similar programme took place at Penanjong Religious School.

Piasau-Piasau Religious School in Mukim Labu hosted a similar programme in Temburong District. The tazkirah or religious talk was delivered by Awang Mahari bin Orang Kaya Setia Ahmad, a Senior Teacher at the school. The reading Surah Yasin to mark His Majesty's 71st Birthday and the Doa Allah Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam were led by Awang Haji Mohammad Bahrin bin Haji Mohammad Zjaidin, a Trained Religious Teacher.
