Despite the month of Syawal is almost coming to its end, the Hari Raya festive continued to be celebrate with joyous by Muslims community in the country. Kampung Bokok Legislative Council with the collaboration of the members of Masjid Takmir Committee, Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar in Kampong Bokok yesterday held a Hari Raya Get-Together Ceremony at Former Hall of Bokok Primary School. Present was Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Emran bin Haji Sabtu, member of the Legislative Council and Penghulu of Mukim Bokok. The celebration aimed to strengthen relations among residents of Kampong Bokok and its surrounding areas, as well as provide an avenue to gather and seek forgiveness from one another. The ceremony also saw a singing performance and a lucky draw. Also held was a cake cutting ceremony known as 'kepala meja', which aimed to introduce to the younger generation of its meaning and function in the old days.
