Brunei-Singapore Government Hostel Alumni Hosts Hari Raya Aidilfitri Celebration

Although the month of Syawal is now in the final week, Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations continue to be held by various parties. Last night, 140 members of the Brunei-Singapore Government Hostel alumni, AKBS, held an Aidilfitri Get-together ceremony. The aim of the ceremony was to give the alumni the chance to get-together and enhance relations, apart from celebrating the 50th anniversary of the sending of the group of the 1967 to Singapore and their arrival in the republic. At the ceremony, Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohd Roselan bin Haji Mohd Daud, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office was present. Also attending, were His Excellency Lim Hong Huai, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam and Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Putera Maharaja Dato Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Ghani bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Dewa Dato Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Rahim, Member of the Legislative Council.
