A local man, who pleaded guilty to the charge of mischief, will be sentenced by the Magistrate's Court on May 3.
The case is linked to an incident earlier this month where a photo went viral on WhatsApp showing a car which crashed into a workshop counter.
Zulhilmi bin Mat Jeneh, 25, committed dangerous driving and mischief by driving his car into the display counter of Yeo Motor Workshop in Tutong at 2.55pm on April 7, damaging the counter and 130 pieces of spark plugs owned by the company.
DPP Vuina Swig informed the court that the defendant had gone to the shop to ask for towing services. His request was put on hold, which made him feel ignored after waiting for quite sometime.
He then went into his car and positioned it in front of the shop and stepped on the accelerator causing the car to ram into the shop.
Two sales assistants who were standing behind the display counter also sustained injuries.
Magistrate Dewi Norlelawati binti Haji Abdul Hamid adjourned sentencing to consider a fitting punishment for the defendant.
