A local woman was brought before the Bandar Seri Begawan Magistrate's Court for offences under Paragraph 12(1)(i) of the Passport Act Chapter 146.

26 year old, Zarrina binti Asnan, was charged for the offence of assisting a woman Bibi Suryati binti Jefridin aged 30, in presenting somebody else's passport to the on duty Immigration officer at the Kuala Lurah Immigration Control Post on the 31st of July, while exiting the country. The court fined the accused $2,000.00 or 2 months imprisonment in default. She was given until tomorrow to settle the fine.
