​His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah calls on all the relevant parties to take consolidated measures in nation building, especially in the development of youth.

The Monarch emphasizes only when the responsibility is fulfilled would there be hope for the country to see an outstanding future generation. His Majesty made the titah during the 12th National Youth Day celebration at the Plenary Hall of the International Convention Centre in Berakas yesterday. In the titah, His Majesty also outlines four types of awareness that the country's youth should possess regardless of their status or like and these are religious, family, community and nationhood awareness. Touching on quality youth, His Majesty underscores the development of personality, capability and knowledge.
