Malaysian Murderer to Be Remanded Pending DNA Analysis Results

The Magistrate's Court adjourned a father's murder case to May 28 and ordered a Malaysian to be further remanded at the Jerudong Prison pending DNA analysis results.
DPP Zuraidah Sidek informed Magistrate Pengiran Shahyzul bin Pengiran Abdul Rahman that evidence pertaining to the alleged murder, which has been sent to a laboratory in Singapore for DNA analysis, is still pending.
Jeromy Ling Leh Teck, 32, who is represented by lawyer Sharifah Safina binti Malai Abdul Hamid, is facing a charge for the murder of his father, 58-year-old Ling Koung Tien on January 4, 2016, between noon and 7pm in a house at Kampong Jangsak.
The defendant was arrested on January 6, 2016 at 7pm.
