MANILA, PHILIPPINES
(KPL) Minister of Foreign Affairs Saleumxay Kommasith met with his counterparts from friendly countries on the sidelines of the 50th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting and related meetings in the Philippines on Aug 4-8.
Minister Saleumxay and his delegation met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Wang Yi and his delegation on Aug 6, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam Pham Binh Minh on Aug 5, Sri Lankan foreign minister Ravi Karunanayake and his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
During the bilateral meetings, the minister and his foreign counterparts discussed and shared views on how to promote and strengthen the relations and cooperation between Laos and the foreign countries.
