The second group of 254 intending pilgrims using the Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad haj package left for Madinah al-Munawarah yesterday afternoon. The delegation, joined by 5 officers of the Haj Medical Haj Management Office, boarded the Royal Brunei aircraft RB, BI4203 and is expected to arrive in Madinah at 10.12 PM Madinah time.

Present to bid farewell were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs and wife, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, as Chairman of Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB)  Board of Directors, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Zulkarnain bin Haji Hanafi, Minister of Health, His Excellency Hisham bin Abdul Wahab bin Zar'ah, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia to Brunei Darussalam, Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohamad Daud, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs and wife as well as Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohd Jammy (JIMI) bin Haji Muhd. Shah Al Islam, the Commissioner of Police. The Doa selamat was recited by Yang Dimuliakan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Awang Haji Emran bin Haji Kunchang, while Mudim Awang Haji Abdul Latif bin Haji Saman did the call of prayer.
