Govt Extends Relief Aid To Flood Victims

The government has donated over 500 million kip as relief aid for flood victims in central and southern provinces.
Flooding was reported in central and southern province between Aug 9-12.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare donated over 550 million kip to Vientiane (province), Bolikhamxay, Champassak, Saravane, Xekong, and Attapeu.
The relief aid included over 120 million kip each to Vientiane Province, Bolikhamxay, and Champassak, the same amount of 70 million kip to both Saravan and Xekong, and 50 million kip to Attapeu.
