Closing Ceremony of the 14th Southeast Asia Survey Congress

Darwin, Australia will host the 15th South East Asia Survey Congress, SEASC in 2019. The handover of the congress flag to the next host country symbolizes the official ending of the 14th SEASC this morning. The closing ceremony was held at the Rizqun International Hotel in Gadong.

 

The congress discussed the most recent technologies and applications as well as exchanged innovative ideas and experiences, to promote future research opportunities in the fields related to surveying, Mapping, Land Management, Disaster Management and other related fields. Present was Awang Haji Muhammad Lutfi bin Abdullah, Permanent Secretary for Administration and Finance at the Ministry of Development.

 

At the ceremony, Awang Haji Muhammad Lutfi presented token of presentations to the participants of the exhibition during the opening ceremony of the congress. This was followed by the handover of the congress flag by Awang Haji Ali Bakar bin Haji Kassim, Surveyor General and the Congress' Chairman to the representative of the next host country, Mr Peter Barrat. The 3 day congress was attended by over 300 local and international participants.
