The son and daughters of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Muizzaddien Waddaulah, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen, Her Royal Highness Princess 'Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah, and Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzillah Lubabul Bolkiah, the Manager of the Brunei Darussalam netball team watched the semi final of the netball event of the 29th SEA Games. The match took place at Juara Stadium in Bukit Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.

In the match, the Brunei Darussalam team in black lost to the host, Malaysia with 28 - 70. Also present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
